LOREXANE® Cream

Ingredients
Gamma Benzene Hexachloride IP (0.10% w/w): Also known as Lindane, this ingredient is an organochlorine chemical used as an insecticide and pharmaceutical treatment for parasites like lice and scabies. It acts as a neurotoxin, interfering with neurotransmitter function, which makes it effective against maggots and other parasites​​.
Proflavine Hemisulphate (0.10% w/w): A disinfectant bacteriostatic against many gram-positive bacteria, Proflavine is used topically as an antiseptic, contributing to the cream’s efficacy in preventing and treating bacterial infections in wounds​​.
Cetrimide IP (0.45% w/w): Belonging to the group of quaternary ammonium compounds, Cetrimide is an antiseptic and disinfectant, enhancing the cream’s ability to maintain clean and infection-free wound conditions​​.
