Neominth Tablets

Ingredients

Each tablet contains:

• Ivermectin I.P.: 10 mg
• Excipients: q.s.
• Description / Action: Neominth Tablets are flavored, mouth-melt ivermectin tablets for dogs. They work by inhibiting GABA and glutamate-gated channels of parasites.

• Ectoparasites:
  • Demodicosis
  • Scabies
  • Ear Mites
• Endoparasites:
  • Nematodes
  • Whipworms
  • Heartworms

Dosage and Administration / Directions for Use

• For Ectoparasites:
  • Demodex Mites: 300–600 mcg/kg b.wt. once daily until 2 negative scraping tests.
  • Sarcoptes, Otodectes, and Cheyletiella Mites: 200–500 mcg/kg b.wt. until clinical and parasitic cure; repeat twice a week.
• For Endoparasites:
  • Nematodes: 200 mcg/kg b.wt. as a single dose.
  • Whipworms: 200 mcg/kg b.wt. once daily for 3 days.
  • Microfilaria of Heartworm: 50 mcg/kg b.wt. as a monthly dose.
• Or as directed by the veterinarian.

Precautions

• Safe for all breeds of dogs except Collie breeds.
• Not suitable for dogs and cats below 3 months of age (Ref: Standard textbooks).
• Overdose may cause ivermectin toxicity, leading to symptoms such as loss of appetite, lethargy, muscle tremors, blindness, vomiting, and nervous signs.
• Not for human use.
• Keep out of reach of children.
• Store in a cool, dry, and dark place below 25°C.
