Main Ingredients and Use
Tolfenamic acid, an anti-inflammatory agent used in cattle to reduce inflammation and pain associated with musculoskeletal and respiratory infections.
Precautions
- Do not use in cases of ulcerations, digestive bleeding, or hypersensitivity.
- Avoid in dehydrated, hypovolaemic, or hypotensive animals.
- Do not inject more than 20 ml per injection site.
- Avoid concurrent use with nephrotoxic drugs or other NSAIDs within 24 hours.
- Rinse immediately if contact occurs with skin or eyes.
Dosage
- Intramuscular Injection: 2 mg/kg (1 ml per 20 kg), repeated every 48 hours.
- Intravenous Injection: 2 mg/kg (1 ml per 20 kg), repeated every 24 hours or followed by intramuscular injection after 24 hours.
- Do not exceed 5 consecutive injections.
