EFFITIX SPOT ON LARGE DOG

Effitix Spot-On contains Fipronil and Permethrin. Fipronil is an insecticide and acaricide belonging to the phenylpyrazole family. Fipronil and its metabolite, fipronil sulfone, act on ligand-gated chloride channels, particularly those gated by the neurotransmitter gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA). It also affects glutamate-gated chloride channels, which are unique to invertebrates. This leads to uncontrolled activity of the central nervous system, causing paralysis and death in parasites.

Fipronil (6.1% M/V)
Permethrin (54.5% M/V)

Dosage and Directions for Use:
The recommended minimum dose:
Fipronil: 6.7 mg/kg body weight
Permethrin: 60 mg/kg body weight
Use the pipette corresponding to the dog’s weight. For dogs > 60 kg, an appropriate combination of pipettes should be used.

Precautions:
For external use on dogs only.
Not for use on puppies under 8 weeks of age.
